The Financial Yearbook of Portuguese Municipalities 2022 was presented on the morning of September 28, 2023, at a conference organized by the Order of Certified Accountants (OCC) and the CICF.
The opening session of the conference was held by OCC president Paula Franco, the Secretary of State for Local Administration and Territorial Planning, Carlos Miguel and the President of the Court of Auditors, José Tavares, followed by the presentation of the 2022 Yearbook by Maria José Fernandes, the study’s coordinator.
The conference ended with a debate on the theme “Challenges of local governance – Local housing strategy and PRR” and featured the participation of António Gil Leitão, president of the Housing and Urban Rehabilitation Institute, Benjamim Pereira, mayor of Esposende, Carlos Carreiras, mayor of Cascais, and Gonçalo Lopes, mayor of Leiria, moderated by Pedro Mota e Costa, economist.
The document, produced by the CICF and coordinated by Professor Maria José Fernandes, also had the contribution of researchers Pedro Camões and Susana Jorge, and was once again supported by the OCC and the Court of Auditors.
