“The Centre’s 2023 “Activities Report” shows a set of results that deserve a special highlight. In almost all items there was a production increase relatively to the precedent year. Moreover, in absolute terms, it’s remarkable the productivity of the members, especially if one takes into consideration that most of them, if not all, have to lecture in each week a minimum of 12 hours. Congratulations to all of the members for the achievements of 2023.

Nevertheless, the sky is the limit. One will expect more every year, as the members’ publishing experience increases and consolidates. A litle note to those that are satisfied when publishing in “proceedings of conferences” indexed in WOS/Scopus: Be more ambitious. Although it may take more time to get a publication, send your research to indexed journals, look for more visible and rewarding publications.

Best success to the Centre as a whole, to each member in particular, in the year 2024.”
