Short resume: Augusta Ferreira holds a PhD in Accounting from the Universities of Aveiro and Minho, with specialization in Public Accounting.
She is an adjunct professor at the Higher Institute of Accounting and Administration at the University of Aveiro and has been teaching curricular units, as well as directing master dissertations and doctoral theses within the scope of the Scientific Area of Accounting.
She has developed several management positions, namely: pedagogical council, assembly of representatives, scientific council, executive committee, direction of master’s degree course and scientific doctoral commission.
She is an integrated member of the Center for Research in Accounting and Taxation of the Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave and has developed research, among other areas, in public accounting, accounting information systems, disclosure of financial information, transparency and accountability in public institutions.
She has published several articles in national and international journals as well as presented several communications in national and international congresses.
