Short Curriculum: Has a PhD in Economic and Business Sciences (Accounting) from the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain), a Master’s degree in Accounting and Auditing from the University of Minho (Portugal) and a degree in Public Administration from the University of Minho.
Adjunct Professor at the School of Management (ESG) of the Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave (IPCA), in Portugal, where she has been teaching undergraduate and masters courses in the area of Cost Accounting and Management Control Accounting..
Member of the Research Centre on Accounting and Taxation (CICF) and coordinator of the postgraduate course in Management Accounting and Business Strategy of IPCA. Member of the Editorial Board and Referee of articles in several national and international scientific journals. Member of the scientific committee of distinct congresses/conferences/journals.
Author of publications in book chapters, technical and professional journals, scientific journals and of academic research papers presented at various national and international congresses
Has supervised students on internships and master’s degrees and has been a jury member of master’s, doctoral and specialist degree examinations. Her work is mainly focused on two lines of research: Balanced Scorecard in Public and Private Organizations and Cost and Management Accounting
